In 2023, Uber contributed approximately $133 million to the Kenyan economy, with key impacts including $16 million in additional driver earnings and $3 million in added value for local restaurants through Uber Eats. The platform facilitated flexible earning opportunities for thousands, enhancing financial security and promoting entrepreneurship. Additionally, Uber supported the Kenyan tourism industry with an estimated $20 million boost. These figures highlight Uber’s role in fostering economic growth and digital transformation across Kenya​.
