No, AmCham Kenya does not offer individual memberships. Membership is only open to organizations and institutions, with the goal of having a strong and vibrant business member organization.

Events
On the AmCham calendar, select events are reserved for members only. However, there are other events that are open to the public. Details on this regarding each event will be communicated beforehand.
No. Select events in the AmCham calendar are free of charge.
No. Select events in the year are free, however, AmCham charges a small cover charge for members for those events which have a fee.
No, as memberships are for organizations, any member of staff from a member organization may attend the forums.
No. Members may bring as many guests to an event as they wish, but the guests must pay the specified event fee.
Please note that non-members may attend a maximum of 3 AmCham events per year, after which they will be required to register as a member themselves.
While walk-in registration is possible for some events, we recommend registering prior to the event as we may have to turn attendees away if the event is full. Registration details for all AmCham events are communicated in advance.
Event registration may be cancelled within 72 hours of the start of an event. Please note that the event entry charge is non-refundable. Tickets are however, transferable.
You may send a replacement in your place provided you provide the organization name, and contact details of the new ticket holder a minimum of 72 hours to the start of the event.
AmCham accepts card payments, bank-transfers and mobile money as modes of payment. For further details please email info@amcham.co.ke.
Only Platinum AmCham members may display their banners at select AmCham events.

No it is not. AmCham is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-governmental agency, registered as a Limited Company by Guarantee.
AmCham is a non-profit organization that works closely but independently of the U.S. Embassy in Kenya. We work closely with officials from the U.S. Embassy – including the U.S. Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission – on jointly sponsored events and programs that promote American business in Kenya and strengthen the longstanding ties between our two countries.
