Our Initiatives
Force For Good
Sustainable business is not a future aspiration for Kenya; it is a present commercial imperative.
AmCham Kenya’s Force For Good initiative is built on a straightforward conviction: companies that take their social, environmental, and governance responsibilities seriously are not just doing the right thing, they are futureproofing their businesses, protecting their market share, and earning the consumer loyalty that sustains long-term growth.
Our member survey findings bear this out. Businesses operating in Kenya do not, in the main, dismiss sustainability as an exercise in optics. They understand it as a condition of maintaining their social license to operate and as the most reliable route to a profitable, resilient business model in the decades ahead.
Through Force For Good, AmCham Kenya tracks member attitudes and progress on ESG, surfaces best practice, and accelerates the sustainability work of member organizations across the region. We connect the dots between corporate commitments, policy direction, and consumer expectations, giving members the intelligence and peer benchmarking to act with confidence.
Both the U.S. and Kenyan governments are signaling clearly where policy is heading. Companies that align their operations with those trends are not just ahead of regulation, they are ahead of their competitors.
